NO GIVING UP! The Concert - Media Coverage

The concert was covered by ABS-CBN and GMA7 including media practitioners from both the print and radio. The concert has become a talk of the town after it was shown in the news locally and nationally and after it was heard from the radio stations in Ilocos. The Ilocos Times featured the concert in a full-page article in their October 24-30, 2011 issue. The euphoria hasn't change until now and the city government is already planning to stage a repeat concert hopefully this coming December if the schedule permits it.

NO GIVING UP! The Concert - Finale

The concert ended with a grand spectacle of song, dance, confetti and firework as the choir sang their finale entitled ‘Firework’ by Katy Perry. With the level of energy going on, the audience stood on their feet and danced while clapping their hands in the air. It’s as if there is no giving up on the fun they were all having that night.

NO GIVING UP! The Concert - A Tribute to BJMP and Warden Sison

One of the highlights of the show was a tribute to BJMP and Warden Sison composed by one of the members of the choir. It speaks of how the warden and BJMP changed the lives of the inmates during their stay with the institution through their humane treatment of safekeeping and development. The warden was humbled by the choir’s performance and couldn’t hide his emotions as the audience clapped and cheered every time his name was mentioned in the song.
